Automotive - Customs Invoices

Project Requirements:

The client identified the need to implement a system for managing customs invoices using the SANBA tool, which was integrated into the existing SAP system. This integration optimized the management of company resources and internal processes, enhancing operational efficiency. SANBA was developed to adapt to the client's specific needs by modifying Broker Management functionalities to effectively meet business requirements.

Approach:

After an in-depth analysis of business needs, the specifications for the new project were shared. Using SAP methodologies such as Blueprinting, Configuration Management, and Change Management, an advanced procedure for managing customs invoices was defined, aimed at improving traceability and operational efficiency. Integration with the existing SAP system allowed optimization of costs and solutions, ensuring smooth and scalable management of customs processes in line with corporate standards.

Solution:

In collaboration with the client, DataNetwork developed the base project for Broker management, defining the so-called "Concept", and also created processes related to purchasing price schemes, new pricing conditions, and passive invoicing. The SANBA application, developed in a SAP web environment, was designed to simplify customs invoicing operations.
This solution optimized various company activities, improving efficiency and reducing operational costs linked to customs invoice management.
• SAP Integration: The solution is fully integrated with the existing SAP system, ensuring continuous data flow and reducing error risks.
• Process Automation: Automated customs invoicing management reduced processing times and improved accuracy in fiscal records.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: The solution was tailored to meet the client’s specific needs, with the capability to evolve according to regulatory or business changes.
• Simplified Approval Processes: SANBA streamlined approval workflows, enhancing transparency and operational efficiency.
• Error Reduction: Automation reduced manual errors in invoicing operations and price condition management, improving data reliability.
• IT Team Support: Close collaboration between DataNetwork and the client’s ICT staff ensured a smooth and rapid implementation.
The project’s success was driven by DataNetwork’s methodology, combining prior experience with strong adaptability to client needs, as well as the preparation and availability of the client’s ICT team. These factors enabled excellent results, consolidating a robust and highly efficient system for customs operations management.
