Following the introduction of the new SAP management system, the client needed to implement the authorization structure. The model also had to be functional for SOD management, compliant with SAP best practices, and facilitate user profiling.
Approach:
Choosing Data Network as a partner for SAP security management, after receiving training on application security management, the client defined the authorization procedure and established profiling best suited to their organizational structure, making maintenance more efficient.
Solution:
The client chose Data Network as their SAP security partner. Together, Data Network and the client developed the complete authorization framework, known as the 'Authorization Concept.' This improved IT management and raised business awareness on these topics. The structure, based on Job Roles, also reduced authorization management efforts while ensuring quality and efficiency standards required by the client. The winning approach was Data Network’s methodology, based on the company’s prior experience, active collaboration, and the competence of the client’s ICT staff. These factors led to excellent project results and significantly reduced ordinary SAP authorization management, ensuring business continuity.
